From girl to woman, from woman to mother, matrescence is the essence of transition. This project is in dedication to both the mothers you see in these images, and the mothers who aren’t. It’s for every girl that became a woman, and transformed into a mother.
Not only this - but it’s also dedicated to the girls and women who can’t have kids, or just simply don’t want children, because despite this motherhood is something we can all cherish.
For we are the daughters of our mothers.
