Before I turn 13 (Ongoing)


‘Before I turn 13’ is a current and ongoing  photographic documentation of my 12 year old sister Thea. It’s an extension of my previous project ‘You can be the Dad’ as through that project I became enchanted by the ways my sister has almost been allowed to be a child. Although we are similar, our upbringings are very different,  and I want to be able to document this time for her before she becomes a teenager, to hopefully provide a poem of her childhood for her to look back on.
